"Treat the mother, treat the child"

Good to see research backing up what many previous patients (and acupuncturists) know, that acupuncture is blooming marvellous for post natal depression, as well as for women who are just feeling generally delicate post birth.

Two studies found acupuncture was as effective as an antidepressant (Prozac (fluoxetine)), and another found it was more effective. This new systematic review finds that acupuncture "may be a safe and effective option".

A wise lecturer at my college once stated that "you treat the mother and you automatically treat the child" - it's so true...
